OPSEC.

~OPSEC OPerational SECurity, is always of the utmost importance.

~N4M’s also has Community Guidelines just like any other social media.

~Please take the time to read the OPSEC and N4M’s Community Guidelines.

~A quick note here, from the N4M’s CG’s:

• Don’t Jeopardize the Safety of Our Sailors: Remember OPSEC (Operational Security) (Don’t Sink Ships With Loose Lips) This site and all content posted on it are viewable to everyone on the Internet. This doesn’t mean you can’t share things about your Sailor – but too many details can put Sailors in harm’s way. The following are examples of red flags and should not be shared within this community either by posting or sending via a Group message:

• Sailors’ last names. This includes your username if you share the same last name as your son or daughter.

Some Suggestions:

~If your last name is different from your Recruits it is still not recommended for you to use in your username for your own personal security. This is your option. It is also not a good idea to use an email address as your username for personal security reasons.

~First Names and pictures of your Recruit are allowed but remember, everyone can see it and someone can easily match them up with their "mom". So you might want to consider changing your profile picture to not include your Recruit at least for the duration of BC. Again, your option

~It is also a good idea to make your settings for your Profile Page "viewable only to your friends"

The last chance to pass the PFA is on a Wed before PIR, BattleStations probably Thurs night then, but then your sailor will be at PIR, just very tired!  Sometimes too tired to march, so then in the balcony with the other tired sailors--although I know of some who managed to march even after being up all night!  Prayers for those trying to pass the final PFA!  If they do not pass by that Wed, they stay in FIT division and keep trying (they will have about 12 more tries, 3 days a week).  Once they pass, they do BattleStations and head to A School (no PIR after they miss their own).

Prayers that all will pass their PFA in time.

Not sure which divisions will call this afternoon as sailors...maybe 329-332?  Time will tell!  Keep the phones close!

Good Morning!

We got the phone call last night about 9PM our SR did not pass the running. and was reading a script letter my husband took the call so I keep drilling him on what he said, which was he would not be graduating with his division this totally breaks my heart. My husband says not to cancel our hotel yet, Is there still hope that he will attend PIR? does anyone know?

Kayla's mom,

Katie02 is correct.  Your SR daughter will have several opportunities to pass that final PFA run and when she does, she can go through Battlestations with another division in her PIR if her division has already gone through.  Depending on what day she passes Battlestations, she will be with her division or be up in the bleachers with other Sailors too exhausted to stand for the 1 1/2 hour PIR~~

Here's a scripture to pray over your SR~~

      "He gives strength to the weary

       and increases the power of the weak.

       Even youths grow tired and weary,

       and the young stumble and fall;

       But those who hope in the Lord

       will renew their strength.

       They will soar on wings like eagles;

       they will run and not grow weary,

       they will walk and not be faint."

                                    Isaiah 40:29-31

Thank you so much Katie02. That makes me feel better.

From what I understand she can retest, and if she passes before the last div in our group does BS, she can go with that div and still grad with her div. An Admin on FB had this happen to their daughter, I will try to find the post and tag you.

I'm so confused. Will she graduate with another div or just get sent to A school when she passes the text. She said she would not get to walk the deck.
Comment by Katie02 on October 9, 2014 at 11:09pm

Kayla's mom, from what I understand she will get another shot, and if she passes (which she will) She will be put into another division to do BS21. She can do it!!! Keep the faith!

Kayla's mom...my heart is hurting for her and you. Definitely lifting you up in prayer right now.

So I got my call. Not good news she's not graduating. She failed the run. I don't know what happens next.

Thank you navymom888 and diannep. I've been so worried that I hadn't heard anything yet.
