~OPSEC OPerational SECurity, is always of the utmost importance.
~N4M’s also has Community Guidelines just like any other social media.
~Please take the time to read the OPSEC and N4M’s Community Guidelines.
~A quick note here, from the N4M’s CG’s:
• Don’t Jeopardize the Safety of Our Sailors: Remember OPSEC (Operational Security) (Don’t Sink Ships With Loose Lips) This site and all content posted on it are viewable to everyone on the Internet. This doesn’t mean you can’t share things about your Sailor – but too many details can put Sailors in harm’s way. The following are examples of red flags and should not be shared within this community either by posting or sending via a Group message:
• Sailors’ last names. This includes your username if you share the same last name as your son or daughter.
Some Suggestions:
~If your last name is different from your Recruits it is still not recommended for you to use in your username for your own personal security. This is your option. It is also not a good idea to use an email address as your username for personal security reasons.
~First Names and pictures of your Recruit are allowed but remember, everyone can see it and someone can easily match them up with their "mom". So you might want to consider changing your profile picture to not include your Recruit at least for the duration of BC. Again, your option
~It is also a good idea to make your settings for your Profile Page "viewable only to your friends".

BAMA: Remember, if that is a SR/Sailor's last name, we can't post on here! If not, no problem. Just copy/paste your post without the last name (use initial) if appropriate.
Good Morning! Couple more days before we can see our love one...so excited!
Good luck to SR who will go to BS this week. By the way, anyone know which div. won captain cup last saturday?
I am disappointed that no one in our group has jumped on with the baskets and raffle............that would have been a great opportunity to show Sarge how much we appreciate everything he does. Since we have opted not to participate as other groups are.........please remember to bring a nice donation to the Meet and Greet at Sundance since I know there are lots of us going. They do have a donation box I have read somewhere. Even if they do not.......please hand something to him as a THANK YOU.
Door posters...........we just did a poster size board you can be as simple or creative as you want. This is just to give them an extra HOOYAH when they come stay at your room during liberty. I saw one this morning that someone hand drew, it was great. I took the time to let my younger guys glue glitter and write stuff to their sister......it was fun for all of us.
Well they should be wrapping it up............hoping to hear some good news for everyone in 403/404 or anyone mingled in BS last night. Congrats!!!! I am looking for guy last name Coxxxxx mom............I know I talked to her when I first joined but can't remember who's mom was who's except the ones on facebook I talk to regularly. My SR sent me a letter to get to him, would like to send it today.
Good Morning All ! Hoping to hear I'm a Sailor from those new sailors in Div 403/404 this afternoon!
