WELCOME TO PIR 10/26/2012!

OPSEC OPerational SECurity, is always of the utmost importance. Please take the time
to read the OPSEC and Community Guidelines. A quick note here: Last Names of Sailors/Recruits are not allowed on this site. If it is in your username you will need to change your username. If yours is different from your Recruits it is still not recommended. First Names and pictures of your Recruit are allowed but remember someone can easily match them up with their "mom". So you might want to consider changing your profile picture to not include your Recruit at least for the duration of BC. It is also a good idea to make your settings for your Profile Page "viewable only to your friends".

I'm still hoping to collect BattleStations dates from you all.  They are starting for this group next week.  If you have heard from your SR and have a date for that division, please friend request/private message it to me.  Thanks!

Kevsmom, thanks for the update. My SR only updates me on him and his improvement, glad to know the whole div is doing so well. Hope I get a letter tomorrow.

Yeah, Got a letter today.  It's been 2 weeks..no mention from him why I didn't get one last week but oh well... Div 349 they have earned PFA & Inspection Flags so far and Tuesday was to be their Drill inspection for their drill flag.  Looks like our boys will have a few flags to carry during PIR :)  The count down clock officially has 14 days on in now.....So excited

ItalianMom - Let me see if I can help a little bit on the Brother Division thing.

We keep mentioning it because the Brother Divisions train together and are housed on the same ship. So 345 and 346 are basically "doing the same thing" on a daily basis for the most part. Training-wise definitely, but phone calls etc might be a little different.

So, if you don't hear too much about your own division you can live a little vicariously through the Brother one! I know that on my own PIR group...our Brother Division only had two moms that posted regularly and they had to go on what we could give them.
