Hello all. well I finally got the official letter from my daughter. her PIR date is the 29th but her division is 350 ship 7. I dont know if this is still the right group or not but I was very happy to get the letter. It was nice to see her handwriting and to hear that she is Ok. She said she is fine and managed to write a few comments of her own along the way. she said they just started p training.I figure it must not be too bad because she drew hearts all over the official letter. what a difference between boys and girls.. her brothers did not add thier own comments or draw hearts on their letters home.

Miasmommie, I was wondering if they had a chance to write also. But being Div 949, they may not have as much time.

Hello all! I haven't been on here in awhile since I've been SO BUSY planning our trip to PIR!!!!!!!!! Wahoo! So far my daughter and I will meet my brother (from CA) in Chicago, and hoping my mom gets to come but doubt she'll be able to :(..... Booking flights this weekend, calling tomorrow to reserve room - just debating over Comfort Suites or Springhill, and got the rental car all lined up. CAN'T WAIT TO SEE MY SIS!

BTW, has there been any discussion on Meet & Greet for us?

Keeping my fingers crossed for a letter this coming week! Sent out 2 to GL and have a 3rd ready to go tomorrow.... Is it safe to say the RCTs were able to sit and write their 1st Sunday (which was las Sunday for Michell)??

If anyone is in the Washington DC/Baltimore MD area, this is Navy Week. The activities look interesting and it may be a good way to see what our kids are in for.

JessicaB-Sailer Mom - thanks! I was able to find that group with a little effort. Hopefully I'll be able to find some answers. I feel so badly for him, this is all he has ever wanted since I can remember. Thanks again....

By the way I should say they have him in isolation just in case he said, so I don't want the other moms to worry that he's contagious.
