WHAT the NAVY lodge is not on base!!!???? Where is it? Should I be staying on BASE? I thought it was 1.5 miles from PIR building? I thought there was a shuttle? !!!! I am about to freak out!!! MAGGIE 6523 & ADMIN
I have a room at the navy lodge. kitchen, sitting area and 3 beds for $96.00 a night.
Good Morning!
I believe the train station is about 1/4 mile from RTC, but there are sidewalks.
trinityone,
You should be receiving at least an "I'm a Sailor" call from him after Battlestations and he can give you more info during this call, so hang in there! He should be just finishing intense training and about to go into Battlestations during the next 2 weeks~
To avoid waiting in the long line waiting to turn right into RTC off of Buckley Road, stay to the left of this line and go straight to the train station beyond, safely turn around there, then come back so you can now make an easy left turn to get into the RTC entrance. Voila!!
For some who can't find their password, but still want to drive to PIR, you can also park at the train station for $1.50. It is across the street from the graduation hall area, but I don't know exactly how far because I didn't do this myself~
Blessed Sunday!
"And the peace of God,
which transcends all understanding,
will guard your hearts and your
minds in Christ Jesus."
Philippians 4:7
I need help! I have not heard from my son for about three weeks. I am wondering what is going on can anyone enlighten me please?
Ok. Just trying to help. I figured if they were staying at Navy Lodge that weekend they would have to have a recruit graduating and I would hand it in person to them which is hardly like giving it to a stranger. I know too well what its like to stress out cause your kid is not communicative. IS it true that there are long lines to get on base if you drive? I am stressing over having a 6 mos old granddaughter with us. My daughter is refusing to get on a shuttle with the baby without a car seat and we are not lugging the rental carseat into the PIR with us. Any suggestions? How far is Navy Lodge from base? If she straps the baby to her chest with the Baby Bjorn would that be safe?
