OPSEC OPerational SECurity, is always of the utmost importance. Please take the time
to read the OPSEC and Community Guidelines. A quick note here: Last Names of Sailors/Recruits are not allowed on this site. If it is in your username you will need to change your username. If yours is different from your Recruits it is still not recommended. First Names and pictures of your Recruit are allowed but remember someone can easily match them up with their "mom". So you might want to consider changing your profile picture to not include your Recruit at least for the duration of BC. It is also a good idea to make your settings for your Profile Page "viewable only to your friends".

Diannep, that is so sad about his leg, but he's still alive and doing better, that is what's important!! So happy to hear he's off the vent!! and trach!! That is wonderful!! I will continue to keep him and his family in my thoughts!!!

When should we start finding out when BS are for our SR's? How soon do they find out?

If a divisions moves, will the brother/sister division move as well??

I agree with you ladies.  As sad and discouraged as we are with the leg issue, we can't wait to see what the Lord has in mind for Brett!  He has a huge plan for him!

I am collecting BattleStations dates for this group.  Please friend request/private message them to me if you get them from your SRs.  I will keep a schedule.  Thanks! They cannot be posted on this page though....or on FB pages. RTC's request.

UPDATE on Brett this morning:  Restful night, ventilator gone, trach done (more comfortable now), responded to commands from nurses earlier, but was "out" when wife visited...she was happy to finally be able to see his handsome face!  Thanks for continued prayers!

Yes, FTLW, should have clarified that...that was definitely a PRAISE!  Took the leg halfway between knee/ankle so saved most of it.  Hoping that they won't have to go back in to take more.  Praying that, like you said, progress in healing will be faster now....

Good Morning Ladies!

diannep - Just read the update. They did not have to take his whole leg. Joy in sorrow! I pray that his healing will progress rapidly now.

Very sad news on Brett today, ladies. They had to amputate his right leg this afternoon. It was his leg...or his life.  Just too much infection.  Heartbreaking....but we are still trusting in the Lord to heal him...dr thinks that this will start the process of him getting better now...he is still on dialysis to kick start his remaining kidney.  Hoping that they have taken him off the ventilator and put in the trach.  Please pray especially hard for Susan, his wife, and Greta, his mom and have been right there with him each day....this is a grieving process for them too....thanks so much for all prayers.
