OPSEC OPerational SECurity, is always of the utmost importance. Please take the time
to read the OPSEC and Community Guidelines. A quick note here: Last Names of Sailors/Recruits are not allowed on this site. If it is in your username you will need to change your username. If yours is different from your Recruits it is still not recommended. First Names and pictures of your Recruit are allowed but remember someone can easily match them up with their "mom". So you might want to consider changing your profile picture to not include your Recruit at least for the duration of BC. It is also a good idea to make your settings for your Profile Page "viewable only to your friends".

Thanks, Rita.  Just got an update on Brett:  remaining kidney working fine, blood pressure now normal, lower right leg issues resolved, no infection...no more surgeries are scheduled at this time...so praying that his poor battered body can now start drawing strength and healing.  Thanks so much!  He has a very long road ahead of him...but he is alive and moving along, so we are grateful.

Diannep my heart goes out to you family:-(  I'm praying that the Lord will heal Brett's kidneys with full recovery and for your family to be comforted.

Momanddadofmatt4J, I'm praying that God heals Matt's legs and strengthens him during his four extra weeks. Also, for God to comfort your heart:-)

Mom&Dad:  So very sorry....stress fractures are so common in bootcamp...sigh...but know he will heal stronger than ever and become that sailor!  I see where you have already joined the RCU group on here...YAH!.  That will be a big help to you.  Prayers for Matt that he is back to training soon!  I will see you on one of the future PIR groups!

Thanks for the prayers for Brett!

Momanddadofmatt4 I am sooo sorry to hear this!! Prayers for Matt going up!! Hopefully he will heal quickly and move forward from there. I am afraid JT will be either right there with him or maybe even dreaded comming home!!! :((( very upset I missed that call and super worried. It seems as though everyone that got calls yesterday was bad news. Lorri-lee I am sorry to hear of your sr also.... Prayers for them all all day today. :( hopefully JT can call back today and let me know something. And it's like y'all said it's God's plan not ours and not theirs. So we will believe n God's plan for he knows what's best for us!! Love y'all because of your support and friendship!! I never thought I would value hearing from strangers everyday as much as I do now. But, it almost seems as though I do know you as close friends even though we have never meet!! Thanks navy4moms for that!! It is a special special gift and without everyone here that would not be here!! Have an awesome and blessed Saturday y'all!!

Praying for Brett,  our problems are so very small compared to his. God has a plan and we must trust in his wisdom and divine providence.

:(  Our SR was told today he has Stress Fractures in his lower legs.. He is getting moved to an RCU Division. He will be held back about 4 weeks.. He is so bummed, was doing so well. Advancing to an RPO and Assistant Watch Commander..  Oh well,  God's plan not his.  Please keep Matt in your prayers.

Oh, that is so sad. I hope and pray he will come through this. I watched the video and his family is so thankful for all the prayers but his poor wife. You can really tell how hard this is for her. many many prayers for all of them.
