GSDGirl: They are in training week 3 this week. Probably bootcamp week 4.
Thanks FTLW!!! I'm sorry I was in a bit of a tizzy when I wrote that, in his letter dated Oct. 5th.
I guess it kind of makes sense that it was done today, instead of Friday, because he's only got two more PIR's then he starts performing at PIR. and from what I understand, Saturday's now are all about PIR practice.
One more question. Some of the mom's that got calls tonight said that their SR's said they are on week 3, but by calculations say they should be on week 5 total, and week 4 of actual boot camp, or is that wrong? Oy this is so confusing, guess I shouldn't over think it and just concentrate on Nov 16. lol.
diannep:Thank you
Ok Veteran Moms, I need help please!!
so my son called last night, for info on if I sent him his ID back, which I did. He said he might get to call tonight or tomorrow night. Well my son's girlfriend just called me and said that one of his friends called her and asked her if she was my SR's girl, she said yes, and he told her that my SR got some teeth pulled and couldn't call but he was ok, and should be able to call in 4 days.
Now SR didn't say anything about this last night, which I know it was just an info call and not a social call, and I thought that they did dental on the 5th and on a Friday since they will get SIQ, which he did, because he told me in a letter that he had a root canal. So now I'm kind of worried!! Will this set him back, why would they pull them now? Or did something else come up and thought it would be best to do now, and since there are only two more PIR's then he starts to perform in PIR's it was better to pull them now instead of friday so he could practice for PIR. Now I am slightly stressed out over this. 901 finally gets to call home and he's in SIQ!!!
shesabmj: Look above and to the right in the PAGES section under the MEMBERS photo box. "Boot Camp Questionnaires."
kp, the form letter has a password for printing the parking pass not an actual parking pass. Maybe they will give you the password so you can print one for yourself or maybe they will let you ride to the base with them. If you are taking the shuttle you won't need the parking pass. If he stays in great Lakes for A-school the parking pass will be needed to go to the A-school base and pick him up.
Does anyone know where the questioneer that we can print and send to our SR is on this site?
kp125 i am not sure- i am printing one out just in case. Since we will be at the same hotel we can meet and get on the same shuttle.... I am guessing thosee passes are just for cars to get on the base.... the hotel offers the shuttle every graduation for PIR so my guesses is we wont need them. I will have it just in case though ;-)
