WELCOME to PIR 11/16/2012

OPSEC OPerational SECurity, is always of the utmost importance. Please take the time
to read the OPSEC and Community Guidelines. A quick note here: Last Names of Sailors/Recruits are not allowed on this site. If it is in your username you will need to change your username. If yours is different from your Recruits it is still not recommended. First Names and pictures of your Recruit are allowed but remember someone can easily match them up with their "mom". So you might want to consider changing your profile picture to not include your Recruit at least for the duration of BC. It is also a good idea to make your settings for your Profile Page "viewable only to your friends".

That is so funny Heather, maybe I should try that as well. Not sure if reverse psychology will work but I am willing to try anything. My hubby and I share a car and since I work from home I take him to work every morning so I have the car to go to the post office every day to mail orders. So this morning  I was actually sleeping and he didn't wake me. I guess he thought I needed to rest. So sweet..... But now I don't have the car to go to the post office or to the doctor :( So now he gets to take a break from work to bring my car back lol. Now, I am so sorry to tell you that even though we are "neighbors" and so happy to find a Carolina mom, I am also one of those whose Sailor has been in for a while. Mine have been in for two years (both of them) but like you I am anxiously awaiting news from my daughter everyday. She is out on the ship for a training det so I am stalking my email 50 times a day lol.

I don't really know what Div or what not my fiance is in.. he left 09/20 and I am pretty bummed out to not getting any letters. Maybe he is part of the same Div that couldn't write till the 7th to. My friend's Bf left on the 18th and she got her letters last week on the 4th

My boyfriend is in ship 11 div 005 and I heard from him for the first time today!! Seeing his letter made me the happiest I have been in the whole time he's been gone. He said that they weren't allowed to read any of our letters until October 7th and that was the first opportunity that they had to write. I only live about an hour from Great Lakes so maybe your letters are just a couple days away!
