Ooops.....I meant to say the temperature ISN"T always the determining factor.....
Over the weekend, I can let everyone know what's going on weatherwise up here. There is no snow in the forecast for now. I think mid to late next week, the long term forecast for that time period is 40' and 50's for highs. Nights; cooler. But the temperature is always the determining factor on comfort. It it's sunny and no wind, those temps are very pleasant. If it's cloudy, windy and/or damp, those same temps are miserable. Something I always carry with me at this time of year and stick in all my light jacket pockets and heavier coat pockets are those stretchy gloves. It can help tremendously if your hands are warm.
You are very welcome, Diana!
Oh, THANKS diannep for keeping us so close to the loop. You ARE a gem....
Feel better too Cheryl....
Aw Jenn....what everyone else said.....Airborne, EmergenC....REST! You'll be great by next week!!!
AZK - you live up by Great Lakes, yes? Would you mind being a weather forecaster for us??? I"m struggling with what to pack.....any idea of what is predicted for next week or is it a day by day crapshoot? Just curious how accurate the weather forecasts are.
LESS than a week before take off...........yip yip yip!
Cheryl: Nothing is SOLID in the Navy! HA! Everything is 'changeable!"
Another 60 degree day here today; sure wish we could hang on to this weather for one more week. I actually took a drive down to Great Lakes today to get the "lay of the land" for heading out early next Wednesday! Getting SO excited!!
Cheryl....I did. We actually had a baptism a week ago yesterday and it was played. We are right in the middle of our stewardship campaign (using your time, talent, treasure) and very specific songs are being used these next Sundays and yesterday. I lifted up your daughter specifically a week ago while it was played for a very cute little baby boy!
Hello everyone! Hope this is a great Tuesday for you all!! Some sniffles going on out there, I see.... I'm feeling a little yucky, too- sore throat and headache (typical strep symptoms for me, so its time to go see the doctor and get antibiotics now if I need them!). Can you believe we have made it this far???? Only one week to go before I get to lay my eyes on and arms around my baby girl !!!!!!!!
@Diannep- are those SOLID dates you sent to my email for Battlestations?
@AZK- I still have not heard if CB was baptized last week or if she is getting baptized this week. Did you receive my song request? :-)
Just sent another Message to Group with BattleStations dates. Please check your personal emails for this, spam/junk mail too. It will not be on N4Moms site.
