Good afternoon everyone.  I have decided that a couple days a month I should probably stay off of this site, LOL.  Started tearing up when diannep said good morning.  Geez.  Yay Cheryl, that's great she received her make up.  I'm sure she will be quite happy about that.  Can't wait for tomorrow or Thursday, waiting, waiting, waiting, for another letter.   Hopefully my sons group has stopped getting in trouble.  LOL

Good Afternoon Ladies, today is a milestone for my son.  He shipped out for BC one year ago today!  I still can't believe that I have survived this year, lol.  He will finish up with his training in November and then he is on his way to great adventures in the Navy!

@Lydia, hi!  You sound absolutely adorable!!!!.

I just received email notification that CB's Picture Day Makeup package just arrived and was signed for at GLTC!!!  I wonder how long before they deliver it to her????? She may not be able to wear any right now, but she will smile BIG knowing the time is coming soon--even if its just for grad pictures and PIR!!!  :)  Does anyone have an idea of how long it takes for mail to process through to SRs?

Great to see you here, Lydia!  Ladies, Lydia's son PIRed over a year ago and she has been a tremendous help as a N4Moms veteran on the groups.  You all are blessed to have her here!  She has a great sense of humor too so it's always fun with Lydia here!  Welcome!

Thanks Lydia, yep you are right. I make ribbons almost every day and the days I am not it seems I am out looking for supplies for the ribbons. Busy Busy Busy lol. But I love making the ribbons for everyone to wear to PIR and then later have that keepsake.

AZKmom,

Our son is in 801 as well and said that 801 is an all SEAL company.  He two friends in 803, one is a Diver and 1 is Air Rescue.

Comment by AZKmom on October 25, 2011 at 12:53pm
Lydia...my son is in 801 but I'm pretty sure he said in his letter that everyone in the division are all SEAL candidates.  I don't know if that is true or not.  It would seem that there would be other spec ops in there.  Thanks for checking in and the invite/information!

Good morning, everyone!!!  I have come to realize that CB is on my mind almost 24/7. I've caught myself stopping to jot on paper when I think of something I want to write her about, waking up in the middle of the night thinking about and writing to her (is that late-night episode thingy a Mother's intuition... feeling her concern/worries???).  I sent her Picture Day makeup yesterday (overnight FedEx) and am hoping she will get it today or tomorrow- not sure how long it will take to get from Navy mailroom to her barracks.  I am guessing Picture Day is this Thursday or Friday- does anyone know for sure???? THANKS SO VERY MUCH TO EACH OF YOU for the support you provide me daily... you are a true gift!   :-)
