So JM we are on same graduation day. I have been following you around for sometime now. Enjoying and learning from your experience. Also made easy by your name starting with JM - and mine JTM. lol. It seems like there must be a lot of lurkers or a lot of people unaware of this website. Do you agree?

Called back the recruiter to see if he was able to get the address he said no but that he would try again tomorrow, I said I would call back to find out. I just got a call from the recruiting office. One of the senior recruiters, who know our family from when our daughter went in a year ago, called me back to say she had his address. We are officially Ship 9, Division 006. That should mean that we are at the correct PIR date.

Its funny how some can find out so fast and not others. We found out Lin's address on his second day. My husband had called the recruiter on something else though and we knew Lin was trying for the 900 divisions. Perhaps that had something to do with it. I am excited to find out what other moms with be 11/24 also. :)

So Jtm it looks like you are in the right place. If the 19th pir is 901 and your sailor is 902, it will take place on 11/24. Tried to get the address for my sailor from his recruiter today. He said he couldn't get it until next Monday, Friday at the earliest but that he would check the website today to have a look.

Ok Just to make things clear, now that I have a second sailor in the making I had to change my screen name. I'm not just Aub's mom any more.

Jess, I haven't heard of any letters about our PIR date so I am still guessing. I will talk to the recruiter on Monday as I'm sure he wouldn't have any infor before then.

JessicaB - Yeah, I figured. I am lucky we live close. I just want to know when I will see him. :)

We got his "kid in the box' yesterday. Only took two days since we live so close. No note though.
