sm54 - I am SO sorry to hear your son is being sent home. He must be devastated. I will keep you both in my prayers.

Thank you all, I guess he just changes gears and moves forward. I'm encouraging him to start school and hopefully he will do that next semester.

srm54 - I am so sorry to hear about your son. It is too bad that they let it go so far if they knew about it back at MEPS. I can only imagine the disappointment your son must be feeling. Your son and your family are in my prayers.

What division is he in? The lower number divisions are closer to where the "big door" opens. If you are in the lowest #, you are right in front of it. People sit by division at PIR...but there is no rule if someone wants to "move" their seat. However, your division will be standing right in front of you, so it is easier to get to them when the liberty call is issued!

Diana: I think he will eventually get the ring back...in some way....somehow. Oh boy....IT for the gf too!

srm54: So so sorry about your son. You are the second one I have heard about in the last 2 weeks sent home because of a hearing issue. It is so very hard when our children are so disappointed....I hope that you can talk to him some during "separation" until you have him home again.
Comment by diannep on October 22, 2010 at 12:42pm
stick is a flagholder....the "2" must mean second one counting from the left. The flagholders are in the front of the division...so you can see him! Not sure how to look up "mass formation." Is he saying there is a diagram out there?
