If anyone from Div 019/020 has a BattleStations date, can you friend request that info to me?  We can't post it here, but can friend request/private message it.  I have a good idea when they start, but wanted some confirmation.  Thanks!

Good Morning!

Thinking that BattleStations for this PIR group may start tomorrow night?   Can't post exact division dates here (not allowed), but for some divisions, they may be getting to make a great call on Thurs.!

NicksMom:  After PIR concludes, ask your sailor before he returns to his ship where you should meet him.  Many meet by the NEX area....but it is up to you all.  My son didn't return from his ship for about 30 min so we were SURE we had "missed him" somehow.  But it turns out he was talking to his buddies as he did whatever he had to do.  I'm assuming your sailor will be flying out for A School?

michelle:  So great that your sons are on the same ship and can see each other!

GL A School sailors just have daytime Liberty, no overnights!  Just wanted to make sure all knew that!

NicksMom:  My son (who was flying out for A School) returned to his ship after PIR and got his pictures, etc.  I believe they have to sign out before they can leave the base???  It has been a while so not positive.  But I believe so.  Then they are yours for the day!

Now, like michelle said, for those moving over to GL A School base, they will be moving over there shortly after PIR concludes.  It takes a few hours to move, and then you can have them for Liberty.  Plan on getting them probably around mid-afternoon.  They will have daytime Liberty Wed, Thanksgiving Day, Fri, Sat and Sun!  So those with sailors staying in GL for A School are very blessed!  :-)

Those flying out will have daytime Liberty after PIR-- returning to RTC that night, and then will have Thanksgiving Day Liberty until the evening, and most likely will be bussed out that night to wait for Fri flights to A School.  Your SRs will not know their exact flights until shortly before PIR....

Nick's Mom 53: It depends whether or not they are staying in GL for their A school or if they are flying out. I think there are some other circumstances as well but I do not have enough information. I know my SR is staying in GL so we will only have few minutes with him before he has to go back to get processed out of RTC and processed into his A School which could take several hours. My other SR will be going to Pensacola and it is my understanding that he will get to leave with us immediately. He will fly out probably on Saturday. I hope this helps a little.

Questions??? I've been searching thru the sight trying to figure this out but I'm still not quite clear on dismissal after PIR. Once liberty is called are they immediately allowed to leave or do they have to report somewhere before they are dismissed and if so how will we know where to meet them. And when bringing them back and picking them up from base where is a good drop off and pick up point?
