OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Lala:  Not too cold down in S FL!  Come on down!  Lows were in the high 60s last night, but will be in the high 70's today.  I'm still doing my walks in tank tops!

Ok, looks like I'm just posting to myself here....where is everyone?   Well, Good Morning.....Dianne!  HA!

Hoping that all have a great weekend.  Can you all believe that in just about 10 days, you will be heading to GL to watch your SAILORS graduate?  Exciting!  They are in the homestretch next week with BattleStations for many divisions, other divisions finishing PIR week.  That "I'm a Sailor" call will be THE BEST!

I am glad I was in Great Lakes last week instead of this week, way too cold now, in fact it's too cold here to. I would head south but it's even cold in FL lol

Bookster,

There are no tickets for PIR, just names on the Access List.

Yep, and no names can be placed on another SR's guess list--definitely not allowed!  Both SRs and their families will be in big trouble!!   This has been in effect since January 2013.
