My son is ship 13 div 21. Thank you all for the kind words. I have no doubt he will finish boot camp, I just want him to finish with his division. I know he is working hard! He said my being so proud is what pushes him! :). He said he is going to make me even prouder! I love that kid!

Arizona mom,

Your SR mentioned that he is getting PT help and believe me, the Navy is very committed to make sure that the SRs can finish Boot Camp well!!  I'm sure he is doing well heading toward PIR now~~

Arizona mom, what division is your SR in because I'm still waiting to hear how my son's division did. He mentioned in his last letters that all that was coming up but I'm anxious to hear how it went, letters seem to be a week behind. Congrats to your SR and I'm sure he'll be up to speed with his PT with the extra help, prayers are being sent his way.

I wish my son gave me such specifics. He said his division did very well and they are really coming together. He had also made some friends who will be going to school with him in CT. And I need an acronym translator! Lol

Hello everyone! I received a letter from my SR last Thursday. He he got a 5.0 on the personal inspection and weapons turnover! His division got a 4.91 on the PI and a 4.92 on the WTI! I'm so proud! He also said that he is doing better on the PFA but not good enough. He said he is now receiving special PT help. I am so stressed and worried. A week has past since he wrote that letter, I wish I knew how he is doing right now. Does anyone have any words of encouragement for a worried mom. I am staying positive!

Treces:  First, let me say that Sarge's MeetandGreet dinner is free to everyone!  He doesn't charge for this, but he and his wife do pay out of pocket each week for it (I believe that Sundance Saloon donates their space for the MeetandGreet for free).  Having said that, if anyone wants to donate any money at all when attending the MeetandGreet, he will accept it (I believe there is a jar/can you can drop money into), but it is NOT expected that people donate money or baskets in order to attend the MeetandGreet.  Just wanted to be clear on that.....Sarge enjoys doing this for the groups and shares lots of info.  Yes, he has his taxi/shuttle business and can explain that too, but it is nice of him to take the time each week to prepare this for you all.

No one should feel pressure to donate.  Money is tight these days and I'm sure there are many sacrifices being made just to attend PIR weekend.  So there are plenty who cannot donate or maybe don't want to....no problem.....all are welcome!

diannep:  Thanks for that basic information, will help me cut down on repeated site searches.  Not many in my div/group are on N4M I guess, more tend to be on FB.  Tried to start a communication above with 903 and not much reply, however other div are replying alot.

Really do appreciate all the help I have gotten.  It is making this time much easier reading these conversations and knowing I'm not alone.  Had to be harder before websites. Thank y'all for the great insite and help.

cpbMom:  Practice makes perfect on this site!  I too was confused when I first got on back in 2009 and was even posting to MYSELF on my page thinking I was posting to others.  But the more I got on it, the easier it was.  Everything you need to know is really here on this PIR page.  To the right/above on this page, there is a PAGES section with lots of info (just click on the different links there).  To the left of this page and below is the EVENTS section which will have Sarge's MeetandGreet info for you.  Above in the Discussion Forum, you will find your division groups....so you can get to know one another there.  Keep practicing!  You'll get it!
