boyleka27,

I think someone did want to start a Basket Project for this group, but not sure what happened.  If you want to head it up, please let Sarge know at 847-212-0246.  If you friend me, I can provide you with wording to get a Basket Project going in this group~~

You're so welcome on the scripture too~~  :)

boyleka:  The baskets that are put together (voluntarily) are to auction off at Sarge's MeetandGreet, all monies going to help Sarge and his wife with out-of-pocket expenses for the MeetandGreet/dinner they put on for the PIR groups each week.  It is suggested that a person make a "state" basket with items representing their state that may be unique....but actually, it is up to the person as far as what is put in the basket.  This is purely voluntary....Sarge charges you all nothing for the meal he provides, but does accept any donations any wish to make.  If you are interested in starting a discussion group above in the Forum for these baskets, please feel free to do that!  Then post on here that you have done so and hopefully other ladies will check out the discussion and want to contribute a basket.

Thanks for the website catmom509, and even more for your scriptural posts! What can you tell me about a PIR basket? I sawa reference for past graduations mentioning putting together a basket for our sons and daughters. I assumed it was a basket for the group

boyleka27,

Here's where you can get the Challenge Coins especially connected to the Boot Camp ships that your SRs are housed on (and where you write to them).

Got a few letters from my SR yesterday, he sounds amazing! Big change from the last few letters, that made me VERY happy and a little more relaxed. Says his division (026) is really coming together, they are starting to know each other first names. Very excited for PIR and requesting to eat at Chick-fil-a after!! Got on me about not getting a letter from me twice (said he "almost cried")! Sounds very motivated, inspired and encouraged. My heart is happy!

@boyleka27- I purchased the Navy coin.  I THINK catmom509 had the link.  Scroll through the comments until you find the link if you are interested in one.  Mine arrived and it is VERY nice!
