Nick's Mom,

Look on the lower left of this page under Events where you will see the 11-26-2014 SARGE'S MEET & GREET.  Go to "View All" to see it listed.  RSVP up the upper right of the page, then go to the Comments and put in how many people.  There is no limit, he just needs to know how many will be attending to provide enough food~~

I personally put in $20 into the Donation Box for my adult daughter and myself when I went to the Meet & Greet last year.  I just wanted to be generous because I know that there are many who don't donate at all.  It's a personal decision, but maybe $5 each is reasonable?

If you want to set up a Basket Project for this PIR group, please contact Sarge at 847-212-0246 to let him know before this Thursday (he will get really busy picking up families and all), so he can arrange for the time and table, etc for it.  I have some wording from a previous group who did one to help you out.  Thanks!

Where do I go on the site to RSVP to Sarges meet and greet. Is there a limit to the amount of people that can attend? What is an appropriate per person donation and where can I get information on the basket? My SR has some extended family making the trip and although they can't attend PIR I want them to be able to participate in as much as possible while we are out there.

Good Morning!

Some in the past who have written letters from the dogs have hung signs on the dogs necks/photographed and sent them to their SRs, signs saying:  Will work 4 Food (since the SR was the one who used to feed them) , etc Very cute!  Yes, as ellen said, get innovative to make they laugh!  Great for the body and soul!

Nick'sMom:  Wow, the OHare Hilton has gone up on its daily price!  A dad posted this info close to a year ago...maybe it was actually winter time....and the rates were lower?  Those prices seem pretty steep, but if it buys you extra private space with your sailor, probably worth it.

prayermom:  The Enterprise coupon is in CatMom's "Pertinent Tips" in the discussion above.

You can put the number of your guests in the comment section on Sarge's page.

I sent a letter from our FOUR dogs with their paw prints on them. My son's birthday is this week, so I wanted to have a party for him with all of his friends and take pictures of them blowing out his candles and such, but my oldest son thought that was mean... I thought it was fun and creative... LOL. I did get his girlfriend (who lives in another country now) to send me a picture of her, which I will photoshop into our house and pretend like she came back to the US for his birthday. I am not a normal mom :-) After 31 letters I need to get creative! :-))
