Choose your Username. For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either). Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!
Make sure to read our Community Guidelines and this Navy Operations Security (OPSEC) checklist - loose lips sink ships!
Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security
Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.
DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.
DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

I just received my first phone call from my daughter SHIP 02 DIV 903. She sounds great! she too loves the food! Doing well on all tests and PT! Just made my day!

Just got my first phone call from my son at 3:45 PM EST!!!!! He's Ship 02, DIV 03 - USS James Reuben. He had 45 minutes to talk. We got half of them and his girl in college was getting the other half. He sounds great, likes the food, is passing all his tests. I am now so relieved and can leave my house again. I'm hoping you all are being called right now.

Mail this on an index card to your recruit if they are flying out to another base on PIR weekend. Once they get their itinerary they should fill it out and then give it to you at PIR. They won't have this info in time to mail it; they receive the details in their hard copy of orders and itinerary the week of graduation. They go back to their ship and rack to check out and that is when they should grab it so remind them. This will keep you from ending up at the wrong airport or airline gate.
Please fill this out when you get your final orders and then give it to us at PIR. Do not mail it.

Someone said to send an index card closer to graduation for SR. to put flight information on. What all was on that, lost that information. Still haven't gotten call, guess no news is good news. Letter sounded great.
