Good afternoon all. I know everyone is excited and so am I. We have over 280 that will be attending my meet and greet. I still need RSVP's as I will be ordering the food tomorrow. Keep in mine that this is a private event at the Sundance Saloon and ALL AGES are invited. This weeks menu is bread sticks, Pasta, Chicken (spicy and mild), sausage and peppers, meetballs, salad and dessert. Please if you want to bring division signs or need a special table to welcome those from your group please let me know. It is best to email me from your personal email rather than N4M because its hard for me to reply from my phone.
Also bring name tags. I always seem to run out.
Looking forward to meeting everyone.

Just got a call from my son...you know....the Sailor!!!! He said Div 22 all passed!!
Anyone with an SR in Ship 12 / Div 023 receive "I'm a SAILOR" call yet!!! So anxious!!!!
My SR said it some medical paperwork the navy dr needs to complete. That is all he said. Not sure if it has something to do with his wisdom teeth getting pulled. I only had about 4 -5 minutes with him on the phone call. So with the excitement of the call, I did'nt ask. He just said some others are on medical hold also.
thank you diannep.
this site has been a blessing. not sure how i would have gotten through all of this. I have gathered so much information from this website and from what others have posted. I knew what to expect during this process.
I am sure others had a difficult time with their SR leaving. With the passing of my father in June of this year, and my SR leaving in October, it was emotionally over whelming. But.... I made it through.
I am anxious to see my SR and meet other parents at the meet and greet.
Sorry about babbling. Everyone have a safe trip.
Who is sick theresa?
momof5: Yes, it is an overnight drill. They should be done by now. Capping ceremony may be going on....very emotional for them! They trade that RECRUIT ballcap for a NAVY ballcap. They are sailors! Calls will start later this afternoon.
theresa: Prayers that the medical holds are lifted for all once the dr returns! Congrats on your sailor!
oh forgot. I got a sailor. congratulations to him and all the rest. 801!!!
got my call.... also 801 yesterday about 5:15. he also said he is on medical hold if the navy dr does not complete some form by friday. he will graduate. he also said there are also several others in his division that are on medical hold for the same reason. apparently the dr is on vacation. hopefully the dr will do right and get the info needed by friday.
