WELCOME TO PIR 11/20/2012

OPSEC OPerational SECurity, is always of the utmost importance. Please take the time
to read the OPSEC and Community Guidelines. A quick note here: Last Names of Sailors/Recruits are not allowed on this site. If it is in your username you will need to change your username. If yours is different from your Recruits it is still not recommended. First Names and pictures of your Recruit are allowed but remember someone can easily match them up with their "mom". So you might want to consider changing your profile picture to not include your Recruit at least for the duration of BC. It is also a good idea to make your settings for your Profile Page "viewable only to your friends".

diannep, my SR 021 said they do battlestations Monday. I assume he meant Monday night.

ok for the pictures of Thanksgiving day - go to ALL ALBUMS and I believe them to be in the second row.  Thanksgiving Day 11-22-12 div 029 & 030.  see if you can see them there. It will say by rayner.

Comment by rayner on November 27, 2012 at 10:29am

I know that they are approved.  I got 51 email yesterday that each one was approved.  I opened my site to anyone so they can see the pictures so I don't think that they would have to ask to be my friend ~ I think. This is crazy.

Comment by diannep on November 27, 2012 at 10:24am

No, if I click on photos/albums, just takes me to my own.  Thinking that maybe the photos haven't been approved yet.

It may be that people will have to "friend" you and then they can see your photos on your personal page.  But give it a while...maybe the link will finally have the piks on it if it is an approval issue.

Comment by rayner on November 27, 2012 at 10:18am

I guess you can try my photos or my albums.  I originally put them in my albums.

Comment by diannep on November 27, 2012 at 10:13am

Hmmmm....it takes me to your Photo page, and then says that no photos are posted yet.  Strange....that is why I'm wondering if only you can see them right now because they haven't been approved yet?  Not sure.  Once on your photo page, do I need to click anything else?

Comment by rayner on November 27, 2012 at 10:03am

Diannep - I just tried the link and it went there.  The photos are posted as far as I know.  They are under my name and under photos.

Comment by diannep on November 27, 2012 at 9:57am

rayner:  I just clicked on the link and it said you haven't added any photos yet.  Does this mean they are still being approved?

...remember as you read the update that he only has one leg....right one was removed from mid-shin down about 3 weeks ago.

This is a very touching update last night re:  Brett, our injured sailor.  Made me cry.
