OPSEC OPerational SECurity, is always of the utmost importance. Please take the time
to read the OPSEC and Community Guidelines. A quick note here: Last Names of Sailors/Recruits are not allowed on this site. If it is in your username you will need to change your username. If yours is different from your Recruits it is still not recommended. First Names and pictures of your Recruit are allowed but remember someone can easily match them up with their "mom". So you might want to consider changing your profile picture to not include your Recruit at least for the duration of BC. It is also a good idea to make your settings for your Profile Page "viewable only to your friends".

Good Morning!  Now....did 021-024 go last night?  I guess we will know in about 6-7 hours!  Phones close by!

Those who did BattleStations last night got to hit their racks two hours early tonight...I'm sure there were no complaints!  :-)

JackFlash:  That is what I missed after my son became a sailor...the letters!  Never got another one....back to texting/email/phone calls, so the few letters he sent me are very precious!

Comment by Eryn on November 26, 2012 at 10:52pm

I told my boyfriend that it is kind of exciting getting mail and that even though I am very much looking forward to faster communication that he should write me a letter every now and then and he said he would.

I sent my last letter today.... kind of sad, in a way.  While the letters from him have been few, they are precious.  It was nice connecting with my son "the old fashioned way" and now I suppose we will be communicating in more modern ways-- email, text, skype, facetime, phone.  Not that any of that is bad-- it's wonderful and what we've been missing, but I have to say it was also nice to see him putting pen to paper.  Maybe we'll still do that on occasion.

My SAILOR called about 5:15pm. She was very tired but happy. She said she is starting to get sick. I am praying that she feels better so she can enjoy her liberty time this weekend.

Congrats to everyone and their new sailors!!

PS He was so tired that when I heard his voice I thought he might not have passed!  His voice was low and speech was slow!  But he is very happy.

801 has new sailors!  Got the call 2 hours ago.  They went last night 10pm to this morning 8am.  He has been up for 30 hours.  My SR was unaware of anyone NOT passing ... so there should be many phone calls coming!  He had 25 min to talk.  Exhausted.  Dianne,  I PMd you about another div.
