I also thank you veteran moms for this website. It was a godsend and it was fun meeting some of my friends in Div 802 at the meet and greet. We had a wonderful 3 days with our SR

I cannot tell you how helpful this site and all your ladies (and gentlemen) have been. Thanks to you we were mega prepared for everything. We went to Sarge's meet & greet and with the information he gave us everything went so smoothly getting to graduation and through graduation. The only thing that I wasn't expecting (even though I had read about it earlier when I first signed up for navy for moms - I forgot all about it) was the sailors they had to pull out of line because they were about to pass out. The first one they pulled I felt so bad for he seemed to be resisting them, not wanting to be pulled I'm sure. Once I remembered what I had read about that I couldn't remember what happens to them as a result so I was a little worried that my daughter may get pulled. But she made it through and all was well. We had a great time spending the weekend with our daughter. Thanks again to everyone for your support!!

Still stuck at SFO waiting for our flight to Burbank. My Sailor is safely settled in at Charleston and is getting lots of sleep. Hard to believe after all the weeks of worry and stress that it is all over now and they are getting on with their Navy careers. Beat of luck to all as they scatter across the country. Let's keep in touch1

I also am regretful that I didn't get to see you all here on N4M. I also was upset that we sat where our Div 903 was posted but the band was on the opposite side the entire time til actual review where they went by quickly. Saw my son for about 10 sec. Hopefully I will see more on the DVD. At the end of the day, it was quite a tearful ceremony. Very proud of ALL the new sailors!

we got home last night so tired from a non stop three days. It was a truly amazing experience! I am a little sad that I didn't get to meet any of my "friends" but i did get to chat with a few other parents. It was so moving to hear 1300+ sailors recite the sailors creed and sing anchors away. we were able to find our son in his division using the zoom lens on our camera lol. Time with him Friday went by so quickly and his flight was an early 7am Saturday. We did make an early morning trip to the airport to spend a few more hours with him then took advantage of the noon check out by going back to bed :)

Just home from PIR.  What an experience!!!  Saw my Sailor off at the airport for A school and grabbed as many hugs as possible.

Wanted to say thank you to everyone on this site.  Not sure I would have survived this amazing ride with out it.  Good luck and much success to all the new sailors and their families.
