WELCOME TO PIR 11/20/2012

OPSEC OPerational SECurity, is always of the utmost importance. Please take the time
to read the OPSEC and Community Guidelines. A quick note here: Last Names of Sailors/Recruits are not allowed on this site. If it is in your username you will need to change your username. If yours is different from your Recruits it is still not recommended. First Names and pictures of your Recruit are allowed but remember someone can easily match them up with their "mom". So you might want to consider changing your profile picture to not include your Recruit at least for the duration of BC. It is also a good idea to make your settings for your Profile Page "viewable only to your friends".

Just got a phone call from my son ship 12 , div 29 !!  Michelle, I hope you get a call too !

Comment by DonnaB on November 16, 2012 at 5:55pm

I am very new here, but my son is DIV 27.  I have had only 1 call from him. I saw the message about giving BattleStation dates only through message, but don't know how that works. I can't wait to see him as he is our baby.  He is 19, but his brother and sister are 32 and 36 so he really is our "baby!"  Anyone have any DIV 27 news?

Michelle:  They do not set entire divisions back, but they can set back individuals within the division.  My guess is that they are using these threats to motivate them to do better as a division.

Michelle my son is in div 29 he hasn't said anything about demerits. He said they still need work on working as a team but they have won 3 flags. Academic, athletic and inspection

I'm sorry to hear that Michelle. My boyfriends in Div 025, he said they lost a phone call a week ago, and had a few inspections go bad, but besides that it was mostly good news from his Div. I hope that doesn't happen to your husbands division :(

Comment by Michelle on November 16, 2012 at 3:37pm

Has anyone heard any GOOD news from Div 29???? I just got a letter from my husband and I'm freaking out here. He said that they already got 12 Demerits (I'm not sure what that is) BUT he said if they get 3 more they'll get set back 2 TO 3 WEEKS AND WONT BE ABLE TO GRADUATE ON THE 30th!!!! Has anyone heard anything about this??? He wrote me that last Tuesday on Nov.6

Brittany: In the PAGES section, above and to the right, there is a discussion on the flags with some piks.
