If there have been any pictures of division 021 let me know!! Haha. I look at that fb page all the time but I feel like I might miss it even if there were some because you can't really tell who's who.
Debbie - hopefully you have another teenager around to tutor you on facebook !! I have been on it for a few years....great tool to keep up with what is going on with the kids!!
Okay, thanks. I need FB tutoring!
Debbie - go to the U.S. Navy Recruit Training Command facebook site. They post random pics. The other day they posted pics of the chow hall at USS Triton (Ship12) along with other pics of more senior divisions at battle station completion and some divisions out marching.
I have not heard anything about the 28th ! That seems like an odd change !? I just talked to him late on Sat (I am assuming he was able to call because we are on the East coast) and he didnt say anything about that. I was just so relieved that he didnt sound so sick anymore!
A friend of my son, a former highschool classmate, just graduated from boot camp on 11/2. His friend sent me the greatest msg on facebook. He told me that he saw him at church on his last Sunday! (that would have been 10/27) Although he was not able to talk to him, he said my son looked very happy !! That is enough to make a Mama smile :)
How do you do that? where is it on FB?
Hey Linda, I stock that facebook page every few minutes in hopes for seeing my husband but still not luck :( I'm going to tell him in my letter tonight to make sure he gets near ANY camera he sees close by :) lol Did your son happen to say anything about them graduating the 28th instead of the 30th??
Hi Michelle - So glad you got some letters today ! (Perhaps they were delayed because of the storm?) We are also on the east coast. Our "magic" day is usually on Thursday when all the letters arrive ! My son is in Div 29 . Did you see the pics on RTC facebook of the USS Triton (Ship 12) at chow the other day? I am pretty convinced that my son is the second one in line of that blurry picture ! It was good to see, even if it was blurry!
Just got the letters from my husband today!! All 7 of them!! :) He's doing sooooo much better then in his last letters. His in Ship 12 Div 29, he told me that they are a push division so they are doing alot more things each day then the other Divisions. He also told me that they maybe be graduating on the 28th and not the 30th???? Does anyone know anything about this???? I was going to purchase my plane tickets today but now I'm not sure what days to get them for, is it really possible for them to graduate the 28th????? (the letter was written on Oct.22 if that helps)
