OPSEC OPerational SECurity, is always of the utmost importance. Please take the time
to read the OPSEC and Community Guidelines. A quick note here: Last Names of Sailors/Recruits are not allowed on this site. If it is in your username you will need to change your username. If yours is different from your Recruits it is still not recommended. First Names and pictures of your Recruit are allowed but remember someone can easily match them up with their "mom". So you might want to consider changing your profile picture to not include your Recruit at least for the duration of BC. It is also a good idea to make your settings for your Profile Page "viewable only to your friends".

How can I find out when battle stations are?  I spoke to my daughter last night and she said that I probably won't hear from her again until after battle stations.

Good Morning Ladies!

Marymn:  You can call the Public Affairs office today to ask about the form for Thanksgiving.  Please post what they tell you.  I have heard that the SRs are the ones who get the forms and send them, but not sure.  Also heard that only those in state get forms.  Not sure about that either.

So please post what you find out.

It is up to your st to mail it to you. If they don't think there is anyone that could make it up they won't mail one. You can write them and ask then to if you can go.

Hi all - i am confused about Thanksgiving.  I can't seem to find a "form" or process that has to be followed.  Any help would be appreciated.  Thank you!

On behalf of Brett and family, thank you so much for continued prayer...as FTLW posted, answered prayers today.  Abscess was removed (found in damaged leg), infection hadn't spread throughout body...hoping that he will now be able to get back on track.  Lives are being changed because of Brett and these prayers....even his mom and aunt said that they are forever changed spiritually because of what is happening in that ICU room....the power of prayer!  His aunt, who I have known for over 50 years as the sister to my good friend-Brett's mom, said she had been away from her faith for a good while, and this has brought her back.  I have no doubt that there are many stories like that because miracles are happening up there in that hospital room!  Thanks so much, ladies!

1Sailor/1Marine - I am afraid it is random. Even though they are brother Divisions and do most everything together, they each have their own set of RDC's. From what I have heard phone time has to be scheduled by the RDC's for when the whole Division goes. The phone room is good sized but with 80+ recruits per division...

I hope calls start coming in soon!

Does only Div024 get to call? What about 023? I have not had a call from my son yet. And prayers from CA for Brett and his family!
