Judie Are you flying into Midway or Milwaukee? Renting a car?
Comment by JudieK on November 30, 2010 at 8:17pm
Hey everybody.... the cheapest tix i found are Southwest. They have "Wanna Get Away" fares that are half the refundable fares, PLUS two bags are free! The good news is that although they are not refundable, they are CREDITABLE to future tix if you need to change to another date! So if PIR date is postponed, you can just cancel the tix and get a credit towards another purchase! So I went ahead and booked. It brought my total down from $1,700 to $700. Whoo hoo!!

DiannepThanks so much for the prayers...keep on it! A friend of mine (younger) whom my daughter used to babysit for are making tenative plans to go in case the BF flakes as in not enough $$$. Gotta have a back up plan...I don't want her not to have anybody there.

kjconner: No problem on the shuttle info. Thanks! The shuttles are actually "taxis" that act as shuttles during that time. I recommend the 6:30 shuttle! We were on that one from Residence...wonderful...got there early enough to pick good seating.--7:30 is pushing it a bit for good seating. This group has 11 divisions so the earlier the better. The shuttles will pass the line of cars.

kjconner and navyfam: Thanks for the airport express info. I can pass it along now to others.
And navyfam, praying that both you and the bf can go to PIR!
