Yes, Debbie...You will need the gate pass if you drive onto the base for any reason.  The only time you don't need it is for PIR shuttle.

Ash, when you say you have the NEW password, did he change divisions?  Is this the one in the form letter?  Have you tried downloading Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox to see if that works for it?

I tried accessing my gate pass, but it says my password is wrong. I know I have the NEW password and I tried all caps and not caps and it doesnt seem to be working. Is anyone else having trouble?!?!

My SR already sounds different in her letters! I can't wait to meet her! Lol she sent me some great photos of her and her best friends in BC both male and female. It's odd I could have photos of one of your kids and not even know it!

Diannep...will we need a pass to go back and pick up our sailor on Saturday and Sunday after PIR?  Just wondering how it works picking up our son throughout the weekend.
Comment by diannep on December 31, 2010 at 8:58am
When getting the gate passes, be sure to type the password in ALL CAPS.  If there is a problem, try downloading Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox. You can print as many copies of this as you want...I had several...tucked everywhere...to make sure I didn't lose it.  If taking the PIR shuttle, you won't need this...but you will when returning your sailor to base after liberty...so I suggest one in the purse, in the car, and in the suitcase!

Yay!!!!!! 14 more days!!!! I am so excited!!! I can't wait to meet you all and see our SRs at PIR! Lex - this time feels like it is flying! But I agree! I wish it would go a little faster!

Hope everyone is doing well. I have been placed on bedrest for minor contractions -- I am apparently moving around and doing too much! :-( The nesting period has started and for some reason I just can't seem to stop cleaning! Ahh!
