OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

I'm heading out the door in about 30 minutes. My plane should land in Milwaukee at 7:45 am. I still haven't heard from my son, but I'm hoping for the best.

Can't wait to meet everyone tonight.

Ash...how are you doing? Just checking if you received my private email. No need to reply...I won't be checking my email for a while anyway now. Did not get any calls today, so I'll be trying to find something out before we leave for the airport in the morning.

Talk to you all later, and maybe see some of you at GL.
