Don't worry too much about BS.. they guys really look after each other and I'm sure they will get him through just as he has helped them. I'm so excited to PIR. I just found all the stuff about PDA while out in public. Good things to know.

He is fine... Just hope he has enough strength to get through battlestations. Not sure on the award. Guess we'll find out this week. He did say compared to other divisions they are really connected. So sound like they are doing well.

Oldest of 4 what did they win the award for? I'm sorry he is sick. I'm sure he'll be okay for BS. Keep me updated. :)

oldest of 4???? Hope your son gets better soon. Don't they have Battlestations tomorrow? I know my son ended up at the hospital on IV antibiotics and fluids for a whole day, then went back to full duty the next. Ended up running to the bathroom in the middle of the night because he got sick and was busted w/o shoes on so he said he was going to get in trouble. What did they win the award for? They are a very small division. Prayers out to u!

Amelia...I am thinking about starting a group for moms like you who have someone in RCU for a long period of time. It seems that it would be a good thing for you all to have a place to go and know each other. Hey, I am going to be in Great Lakes a day early. I have all day Thursday to do as I please. Is your daughter still in the hospital or can she have visitors because I would feel honored to go visit her....

Thank you. I found the site. Hard to tell one recruit from another, but the graduations looked impressive.

Kathy & DianneP thank you! They both are getting along well. At least now with a roommate her age--it'll be easier and someone to talk to as well. But mostly to MOTIVATE her! I will posting her progress as I'm aware of it...they do hope to transfer her back to the RCU once she can be deemed independent and able to function in the barracks--difficult to do so in the long leg cast at this time!

Thanks again everyone!

To the rest of my peeps....what the heck you guys doing...I am gone for a few hours...making nametags and a few surprises for the Meet and Greet and you all explode...hello stop it now...we have had enough stress...I think we all need to say prayers of protection for our families and our recruits or sailors depending on where they are in the process. I love you guys...and always know you have a home and people who care here. Remember nothing will change after boot camp. Our Sailors may be going to who knows where...but the only thing that will change about this group....if you want...is the name...it will become the 11/5/2010 Alumnae group for as long as you want. And may I just say today I expect everyone to muster in on Tuesday, November 9th. I expect stories, stories, stories folks and I WILL hunt you down...lol!!
