I was remembering when we went to Saint Louis for the Cardinal Company ceremony. As they were coming in the only way I could tell my son as they were coming in the park was by his Army boots. Then into Busch Stadium by the top of his wallet. I had BINOCULARS so I could find him. From the waist up they ALL LOOKED the same. Now next weekend I DO NOT know how I will be able to tell him apart at first. I know they line up by height so he is toward the back. I will have my BINOCULARS again.

Lynne, YOU made me laugh. I just thought in the sea of people, he could find us pretty good. We have a friend of the boys coming and he is over 6 ft. So if he wears one than Jonathan can see that pretty good. My Sailor made one of them for the robotics team we are a part of. He wore it as a driver in the competition, so it seemed pretty fitting.

Cathy, first the picture of the cowboy hats with duct tape has given the giggles...lol...second..do you think your recruit has forgotten what you look like...maybe you should send him the duct tape to put on his bald head...so you will recognize him...cause I kind of think he will know you...LOL I'm sorry...that just tickles me!!

Words like that can refuel your soul and help you hang on in the future when faced with deployment or missing your recruit...I have a feeling there are many recruits and oops forgive me Sailors who share those feelings...mommas, wives, fiancees, g/f's and yes even hubby's Jose will be more appreciated after boot camp.
