My son told me yesterday that he can not wait to see us. He misses us. He said he wants to feel human again. His words. Kind of breaks your heart but at the same time encourages me that he WANTS to see us.

Not to cause divisions here (pun intended) I am rooting for DIVISION 357 in the Captains cup today. SMILING with tongue in cheek ladies. :)))))))))))

Beckie,
That was going to be my suggestion. Glad you got an answer. For ANY of you who would like to say hello to us. As if you DO NOT have ANYTHING ELSE on your minds. WE will be the family with TWO DUCT TAPE (Yes, duct tape) COWBOY hats outside the door. AFTER PIR. That is our identifying mark for my son. At this moment I do not think we will make the meet and greet. I still have to talk to DH about that.
Lynne, You do not have to make an apology to us. BELIEVE me we understand. Love you gal.

When you get to PIR you will be able to go to the NEX and with his military ID number you will be able to order pictures.

Good morning all! First good nite's sleep in months for this mom....I've been praying for all those still waiting to get thru BS and get that call.
LOVE that handsome picture! And Amelia sooo happy for you! The power of 'mom'...never underestimate it!
Glad you are feeling better Lynne...given how the moms of 363 have taken you in, I'm betting those recruits are doing the same for your boy...our children are reflections of us and they seem like some mighty fine folks! And of course Cardinal Company will always be home for you both!
Gotta head to store for another blue candle...I will be with you all next week!!

I need some help!! My son informed me that he took his pictures but didn't order any because his debit card had not made it there yet, well I told him to order them and we would pay the day of graduation. He took that to mean we would order them then. So......does anyone know how we can get pictures ordered???

Help.....

Hey all, I just want to thank you for attending my pity party last night. It is now over, life goes on and it is a new day. The shock got me, overwhelmed me, and took me for a ride into the abyss I am afraid, however I have re-emerged stronger and ready to rock on. I spent much time in prayer and asked fo fogiveness for my angry, ugly feelings towards the RDC and know that this will be a work in progress...lol. It is a good thing we serve a patient God...lol!! Please accept my apologies for my ranting last night and my overwhelming gratitude for you graciousness and your loving support. You all are the best. I can't wait until next week!! I kind of feel like I belong in every division in this group anyway...so what the heck???

Amelia...I am so glad you got to see you daughter. That is terrific. I didn't even know that was allowed. I bet you have a lot to teach us.

What a great day today is! Our guys are having Captain's Cup which should be fun for them. Tomorrow is a relaxed day and many are wearing their smurf suits for Halloween (don't you want to see them) and the countdown truly has begun. Guess how I know? One of our members has started on their road trip for Great Lakes already... How cool!!

On a more serious note...as you know the threat level for terrorist attacks has increased with the finding of the packages with explosives in them headed for CHICAGO. Please make sure you head for the airport extra early so you make your flight and be prepared for lines. More people are going to be individually screened and the screening is more invasive. It no longer is a "pat down" but is now a rub down and sorry for being graphic but includes the breasts and between the thighs ladies because of the underwear bomber last year. You know me just trying to prepare you. I want you all there safe and on-time so leave early.

navyarmymom, thank you so much. Amelia, I am so glad that you got to see your daughter.

KS Cathy-yes, in my son's letter, he said today would be Captain's Cup. It's for all the divisions with the same graduation date.
