Just a reminder....to let me know if you are attending the Meet and Greet at Anastasias. I continue to post who I know is coming and how many they are bringin. I need to get these numbers submitted. Please read back a couple pages and make sure you are accounted for!! A couple other meet and greets for our PIR group have been set up for the same time to my dismay...so I really hope you all will decide to attend the one big PIR Meet and Greet because we have all struggled through this time together!!

@kathy - he's not had any problems at all. they did a pulmonary test about 2 weeks ago and said in the last test his breathing was slightly decreased. he hadn't heard any more about it until today. and that's when they let him call us. they did not say they were separating him from his div. they were going to let him continue. he said to pray we dont hear from him till after bs21 and we get his "i'm a sailor" call and hopefully everything will be ok. none of this makes sense. you would think they would have sent him home already if it were a problem. or not have even let him leave and go to BC if it were a problem. he was tested with everything before and it was all cleared. this means so much to him...and as much as i'd like him to always be home with me...i really want this for him. he's worked too hard and come too far for them to send him home now.

Has anyone heard about the bad storms going on up there?
Comment by Kathy on October 27, 2010 at 11:14pm
Navysweetheart, will be praying.. My son had severe asthma growing up. I was somewhat surprised he was cleared to even join. He was told that if his asthma would act up in BC, he would be reevaluated to see what triggered it, and what the likely hood it would be triggerd again. Then they would decide to let him stay or send him home. So far, he has not had problems that I know of. Will pray that your sailor, will breathe freely and get through.
