OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Lynne - I love all of the work you have been doing for this site!! I appreciate all you do. I would love to be at the meet and greet but I don't think we will be able to make it, we have so much to do that day. I do look forward to the day of graduation and hope I can meet some of you!!

Liberty typically ends each evening at either 8 or 9 so you will have to find out from your son....you never know!!

If we take our son after PIR to our hotel, how long can he stay? Can he stay overnight? He doesn't leave for Pensacola until the 10th of Nov.

I am afraid to try the chat box, who knows what my name would be, I really don't have time for that now anyway I am way behind on my work because I can sit here all day and read everyones notes. I would love to say we will make it to meet and greet but it all depends on the travel time. I will find a way to meet as many as you all as possible though.
