Laurel, chances are that your 5th will get in. No guarantees but with ID, probably will. May have to wait until all on the guest list are in. Worst that can happen is that he/she will be held at Visitors Center until after PIR and then will join you.

They can get on base but may need to wait to get into PIR. But just have a ID to get on base. Check past post it is all explained.

My son graduates on 11/5, Div 951 Ship 2, and there will be five of us flying to Great Lakes. I know that only four may see the PIR, but may the fifth get on base and join us at the NEX once the PIR is finished? Or are they not allowed on base at all? Thanks for your responses.

@shoebox: I sure hope that you all can get some extra time with her at the airport on Sat? Many do. They are bussed out early You can get a military gate pass (with ID) and wait at the gate with her. Sometimes they wait several hours for their flights and they enjoy the extra time with family. Even if she is leaving on Fri night (rare, but happens), you all can spend a couple of hours with her out there. Unless she happens to be on a charter flight...then no visits with family. Just something to look into!

So excited daughter on shp 7 div 355, she's missing home but really like what sh'e doing. I can't wait to see her. Sad part is she's a GradNGO so we only get the afternoon. :0( but I'll take what I can get. So we're going cut this trip short so we can see her at A school. when she gets Liberty. Been traveling for work and missed her call but Dad got to talk to her. She cried but was happy. She sure has matured in the past 6 weeks.... So where will the meet and greet be?

By the way...the NWU uniform that Jessica posted...I love it! When I visited my son earlier this month, he put it on for work the morning he had to take me back to the airport....it is really a neat uniform and he said it is really comfortable.

ilovecountry. I'm not sure I would send the BStations article to your recruit. Better to let them get all of their info from the RDC's. Just my opinion....

Hello everyone. When I spoke to my husband this past Monday he told me that he sent out his formal uniform pictures. I was wondering if anyone else is aware of that and if you have received them?? Another week down two more to go until we are in our sailors arms.

What a great article! Do you know if we're allowed to print that out and send it?
