Laura, if he is GradNGo to GL, that may be a good thing because you may get overnights with him.

Got a letter today, thank goodness, after missing the call Monday I thought this would be the worst week ever. Looks like he'll be grad and go, but not sure if he's staying in GL or not, I think so. He'll be ET, he's sick with the flu, the food still blows, got a bunch of flags, was looking forward to fire fighting (I think they did that Monday) for a change of pace.

Lynne...I'm in need of two spots also if anyone has extra space on their list. It's for the Grandparents and my father is a former military man so he is sooo looking forward to attending the ceremony. I know Sandi is looking for spots also so I was hoping you might include me in your hunt for spaces! Thank you so much......

MJS: You can take a hotel shuttle to PIR and not need a gate pass. I believe if you don't come on base to get him for liberty, then he would have to leave base with a buddy and return with that buddy which wouldn't work.. So you would need the pass for liberty after PIR day. If he is GradNGo, you won't have an issue as you won't see him after PIR day. Can't you ask your recruit for the password? He should know it.
