OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

You wanna hear something funny? When we took our sailor (daughter) to the mall after PIR she bought new undies, no more granny panties for her, No Sir, she even threw the Navy issued ones away lol. She put the new ones in her black bag with her cell phone (that we were bringing to the airport). Well turns out she was on a chartered flight and we couldn't meet her or give her the black bag. So she had to go to the NEX when she arrived in Pensacola and buy more Grannie Panties, lol....it was so funny hearing her complain about that :-)
