OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

I have Navy stuff in my office, home and car! No shirt, though, I'll have to check that out. I figured my next step might be a "My son's in the NAVY" tattoo!

I ordered a really cool proud navy Mom shirt. I got it from the Navy Dad's site. I just wanted to let everyone know if they wanted a choice of shirts.

BANavyMom: Yes, sometimes they do have them on Sundays so that is why I asked. So glad that you have a wonderful daughter-in-law and the 3 of you got to talk! What a treat!

Ok, putting 359 and 360 BattleStations on Mon, Nov 1st up above, but there seems to be a discrepancy between Sun Oct 31 and Mon Nov 1st. So if anyone else hears, please post. In the meantime, I'm leaving question marks by that date. Make sure to ask (if a call) what day they START BStations since it is an overnight drill.
