preston8655: Check the discussion groups above for info on your MeetNGreet. Lynne is trying to have it for your PIR at Anastasia's Restaurant. Just hit "view all" above and scroll through the groups until you find it. The Ramada MeetNGreet will still go on as it does for every PIR group, but by having it at Anastasia's, you all can talk and get to know one another better.

bev2010: Your son's division has BattleStations on the first night of them for their PIR group...Thurs, Oct 28th. It starts around 8 pm on Thurs and concludes around 8 am on Fri. Then they have their capping ceremony...where they actually become sailors! It is quite emotional...trading their recruit caps for the desirable NAVY cap! HOOYAH! They then have some chores to do...but the I'm a Sailor calls should start around 2 pm GL time and go for a good while since there are 4 divisions going that night.

On the A School thing, I'm gathering that maybe he stays in GL for his first school and then goes to the next school which is out of town? I just heard from another mom whose son is done with bc and just had his rate changed to sonar tech, and since his rate changed, and I believe he is returning to GL for training so that is probably correct.

No problem anything to help

This means that for those of you with recruits in Div 363and 364, you will be getting your I'm a Sailor calls on the day before PIR...probably as you are traveling. They DO normally let them start the calls earlier the day before PIR...like later in the morning rather than the afternoon as usual. But don't worry...the RDC's really want them all to pass and will push them to do that.

maggie: Thanks so much for the info on Battlestations for Div 364. That means that 363 goes then too...brother divisions. So I have listed them in the BattleStations discussion above as Wed, Nov 3rd.

Ok, ladies, we have BattleStations dates now for 6 divisions....7 to go so keep asking your recruits. Please post and comment when you have more dates on the BattleStations discussion above so that I can put it up at the top of the discussion. Maybe we can get a schedule by the end of the week?????
