Another idea, my son and I have SOME mutual friends of Facebook. So I have them write him comments or send me an email and I print and mail.

Hi everyone : ) My son is set for PIR 10/29. He was getting plenty of letters from us and grandparents etc. but none from friends. I posted this on the bootcamp mom group and diannep asked me to post on some current PIRs for an idea to get your recruit's friends to write. My son's friends are all tech/video gamers. I think they'd get hives if they had to actually put pen to paper. So this is what we did this weekend.

Yesterday we invited a bunch of his friends over and had a letter writing party. They took turns sitting down at the computer and writing a short note to him. I mailed them this morning. Worked great : )

jck: Previous PIR groups have met at the North Point Blvd one. That one was listed as Waukegan; the other one was listed as Antioch on one site I opened.

Is it the same password for all recuits in his division???
Comment by diannep on October 17, 2010 at 9:28pm
Bebparts: He can't send you a parking pass...you have to download it. But he can write the password in a letter or tell you when he calls. Keep asking him. His fellow recruits will know it if he doesn't remember it.
