Choose your Username. For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either). Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Comment by B2bparts ship07DIV363Pir 11/05 on October 17, 2010 at 9:10pm: I'm getting nervous On my sons form letter he didn't put down a Password... and I have wrote in all my letters that I need him to get the pass word or send me a parking Pass. He still has yet to do either.. What can I do. I did call the Phone number on the form the day I got it and He said my son would be the only one that can give it to me.

Comment by diannep on October 17, 2010 at 8:59pm: Yes, Tiffany, the pictures have to be paid for by PIR day, but they can be paid after PIR also...at the NEX....the ones who want to keep them in their ship or mail them home have to pay for them before that.

Everyone is excited for him to graduate and nervous because we all want him to succeed. I am stressing on what to bring, pretty typical of me, I like to make sure I have everything and the itinerary of the 5 days we will be there. I have to make to of them, one that is simple, and one of things that we might want to do. This will be the only time I am sure that I will ever go to Chicago so I dont want to miss anything either.
