Yes, he has his debit and opened a navy federal account while at home.
Comment by diannep on October 17, 2010 at 3:49pm
Laura: Does he have a debit card with him? If so, then he should be able to pay for them. I had heard that some didn't have the money to pay for them because they didn't have a debit card with them, but maybe that was not true?
Not all opened Navy Fed accts and if they forgot to take a debit card from a hometown bank, then I don't see how they could pay.

If anyone wants to contact the "picture people," here is an email address where you can ask any questions:

Jerrold_Klinkosh@nexweb.org

If someone finds out that the pictures have to be paid for prior to PIR, please post that.

Don't the pictures have to be paid for before PIR? I put enough money to cover the pictures and dvd in his account this last week.
Comment by diannep on October 17, 2010 at 3:41pm
Should specify...that by "they", I mean the recruits would be the ones giving the pictures to you at PIR. They return to their ship after PIR to get them.
Comment by diannep on October 17, 2010 at 3:40pm
2ndmomtohim: If they pay for the piks, they can either mail them to you or give them to you at PIR (that's what my son did). He put them on his credit card. If they are waiting for parents to come up to pay for the piks, they pick up and pay for them in the NEX after PIR.

Pkg A is what many get. The "throw in" The Keel (yearbook) in that one if the recruit orders it. The DVD is $29, I think. Both The Keel and the DVD are mailed to you...DVD takes about 4-5 weeks to get to you, The Keel takes a little longer.
