diannep: Thanks so much for the info. I keep saying to myself no phone call is good. We will be in Great Lakes by 11/3 so I may not get the I'm a Sailor call until we arrive for PIR. So please, prayers everyone that I get no phone calls unless it's a just to say hi phone call! Thanks diannep

gkneemo: The call comes immediately if they have not passed their final test with their division. Your recruit will go through with the last night of BattleStations most likely because of your SR's high Div #. You probably won't get the I'm a Sailor call before Wed or Thurs, depending on whether your SR goes Tues or Wed night. Unfortunately, your SR may still be doing final tests after you all have started your drive on Sat. So hope for NO phone call until the I'm a Sailor call, because if your SR fails anything PIR week, the call is made that they won't be at PIR. Lets hope that your SR's final tests are all the week before PIR and that all are passed so you can drive with a relieved mind! The RDC's do everything they can during BStations to encourage the SR's to get through. They want to see them as sailors on Fri!

Questions--If an SR does not pass any particular test, being academic or PT, and gets set back, how soon would we find out? I know that the SR will get a phone call home, but at what time frame? 6th or 7th week? Does anyone know if any SR's have not passed Battle Stations? I'm asking becasue we are driving out from CA and are leaving the Sat before PIR. Any info would be great! Thanks

That is wonderful, Lynne! Here's hoping for even more success with future treatments...and less pain during the treatments!

Hey all....sorry I have been MIAa since yesterday morning...I went to the doctor and had an experimental treatment on my legs and new medicine...and guess what...I walked today 15 steps unassisted for the first time in 6 years...lol...I can hardly believe it...the treatment was so painful...and I have to have many more..but who cares...if I can walk again...anyway I just had to share...lol..it just means everything to me...I'll be able to lose this weight...I'll be able to do things I haven't done..okay I'm done now.
I got a letter and my son had taken his second PFA and was live weapons testing last Tuesday. He was sure looking forward to graduation. I can't believe how close it is getting. I can feel the excitement building with each of you. I am so excited to meet all of you! I have had such fun with you even through the rough stuff! However I would like to take a moment and ask the wonderful RDC's of 357 to please let those recruits have a phone call home.....we haven't heard from them in awhile...lol!!
