is there any ship:04 Div 825 wives that are down here in pensacola? If so I would love to know how you're husbands are taking everything, i'm kind of getting worried about my husband=[ (he's just worried about not passing although he has been passing everything, and just his entire mood and outlook on everything is kind of worrying me... I'm just kind of (this sounds bad) hoping someone else's husband is going through thte same emotions?)

Awww Lexi...keep that pretty smile on your face and do exactly what your parents said because they are right....finishing your degree will benefit both of you...I'm sorry he had trouble with those qualifiers and boy men can be great big grizzly bears when things like that happen...like we held the stop watch and sped it up or something...lol...you hang in there...sounds like he really needed to vent.

I wonder if you all remember when I used to say we are the only ones they can vent too. To a great extent that still is the case. Everything is so new to them yet. They are not quite sure who they can and can not trust. Suddenly they have this ability to tell someone how they feel and all those feelings that have been cooped up inside of them for weeks are just right there. Think of it like a volcano where the pressure builds and explodes after some time. I don't if my little analogies help or not. In all liklihood that is what is happening though.

I am watching it with my own son. I have had to remind him as well a couple time...hey hello I am not your enemy...nor am I somone you can bark orders to...and then he calms down and talks about how pressured he has felt...so don't feel alone...I think many of them are going through this...and remember they went from someone having complete control over their lives to all the sudden having more control given back and it is a hard adjustment...change is hard and stressful...even when it is good....

Okay I will be quiet now....lol Oh final suggestion...when they are venting I wouldn't try reasoning with them...just tends to make them angry and trust me you won't say the right thing...just listen and let them spew and they will wind down themselves...lol....and then simply ask...what can I do to help...it will probably save you a lot of pain...just an idea...lol

Love you guys...hang in there....they are very lucky to have you!! Dear Lord please let my child bring home a girl like Monica or Lexi, Brandi or Megan...and whoever I left out....lol

Thank you ladies. I sent them with a delivery confirmation and insurance. I was able to track the package. I sent it reg. Priority mail. The tracking said it was on the base last Thursday. Oh well, I am off to mail the computer package. Hopefully he will get both soon. I will do the DC again.

I think Monica perhaps many of us, me included would have spun out of control if it wasn't for each other...I am not sure if all of you realize what a special group we really have. As you may know Jessica and Dianne asked me to help with other PIR groups as a seasoned mom ( why I don't know) and I can tell you...our bond...is special...right back at you Beckie...I love each and every one of you guys too!!

Cathy...Jacqui in my Pensacola group said that it takes time and that often things that are sent overnight don't get there any sooner because the mail room still has to sort them and sometimes the new sailors have to stand for mail...which apparently means the dreaded word...wait. Now I trust her...becuase she has been around a long time...so I would just tell your sailor to keep on checking...I of course told my sailor this...but guess who is sending things fed ex today....lol...omg...why can't they listen...lol...when will they learn N4M knows almost everything...lol

That's why we sent our sons stuff to Monica's apartment. We figured he could pick it up as soon as it was delivered. Monica47....Did it come?

Okay, Need some advice here. NOT relationship but packages. I mailed my son his cell phone LAST Tuesday (after PIR), It was in CA, on the base, on Thursday - 2 DAYS later. My son still had not received his phone as of 10:00 CST yesterday. My question is: Are they inspecting the packages? The only thing in the box was a letter and the box with cell phone and accessories. I am getting ready to mail him something for his computer, and just wanting to know procedures so we know what to expect. THANKS!!!
