Choose your Username.  For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either).  Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username.  While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Make sure to read our Community Guidelines and this Navy Operations Security (OPSEC) checklist - loose lips sink ships!

Join groups!  Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself!  Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility. 

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.  

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

One quick thing...don't apologize for hearing from your recruit...we encourage each other...we'll rejoice together...and we can commiserate with each other...I am so happy you got a call...it lets us know life goes on at boot camp!!

Well then I was wrong....imagine that...wasn't first...definitely won't be last...guess they had extra physical training...um hate to say this...glad my son wasn't in that division...I don't think he was...what was the division again???

Thanks ladies. I am sorry no one else heard from their recruit. I did clean our room when he left. I had reorganize stuff so it worked better for me. My recruit told me that they got beat because a kid did something wrong. He didnt say nothing about flags and I personally havent heard nothing.

I forgot about that navymom....too funny!! If the RDCs read this they will say yeah your moms and family are making fun of you...lol oh well...hehehe

Oh I have one more thing to say...( imagine that) I would think after stinky processing days...they wouldn't have to worry about integrating the sexes...who could be attracted to each other after smelling their stench...lol
