This is one quiet group....on the bright side if our recruits are as quiet as us...we don't have to worry about them getting in trouble for talking ...lol

okay this is confusing, but just so you all don't think I am a complete idiot...Proud Mom I saw your posting here about the phone call and at the same time got a message from proudmom who said she had an address. Now I realize you all are different people, but that took me a few to figure out...lol

No he did not leave a message JessicaB ..but he tried to call his wife also.. both of us missed the call.. which I can not believe as we are both watching our phones so close..just keeping my chin up and will await the next call.. but thank you for the information - as at first when I missed it and realized it was from there.. my heart sank.. then worry .. was everything okay.. then reality .. he got a quick call.. I missed it.. life goes on.. keep praying for him everyday knowing what an awesome step this is in their lives.. just very proud of him!

My son's was not in his box either. His phone had pictures on it. Did any of you find the card that had the pictures info. on it. When they went to the game they must of had photographers wandering around taking pictures. My son had his picture taken with three other guys. Okay just in case they had their picture taken but didn't send home the stub...the address is this http://www.stlouiscardinal.com/fanphotos My sons picture was in Gallery 14. I snooped some though and saw young men in gallery 13 and 15 as well. I was very surprised Matthew actually managed to get that in his pocket - no explanation with it - I had to figure it out - but it will be a nice memory. If you buy two 3 X 5s you get one free so it was about 30.00 for 3 but will be a nice memory.

I did smell the clothes. I also kept out one shirt and put it on the couch our our dog could lay on it. She looked so pitiful as she curled up on it. Navymom, my son also said they were having fun with the head shaving. And after the horror stories I heard about shaving it at Boot camp and kids getting cuts on their heads cause the razors were dull, I was glad they did...

Well I will be glad when the letter comes and we can start writing. Your ribbon are beautiful Lala. I love them. Did your previous PIR group also meet somewhere the night before for dinner...I hope we can arrange that as well.

Proud mom ...they must of kept the cardinal shirt..my sons wasn't in the box either..Lala..I was wondering about the rolled up pant legs..thanks!

The box will come within about a week. The form letter comes about a week later but can take 10 days. There is rarely a note of any kind in the box. Save the form letter it has important PIR info on it such as a password for printing a parking pass. Some will see pants legs rolled up and be very confused lol. They do that when they get measured for shoes. If you have any questions at all please ask. I can't believe I am going through this again with a new group but I am happy to be here. At least now I can call my daughter and pass on info about her fiance's division instead of wishing I could talk to her.

I will post a pic of the ribbons I make and then you can send me a friend request for more info.
