yes my sons box was full of dirty clothes!! lol..and did I expect more? I suggest to prepare to cry if you smell them..my son liked to use Axe cologne..My son never mentioned wolf pack either..but I got a feeling they are all one now!! at least that's what my son said the RDC told them! and yes my son got his head shaved as well and said they were having fun with it..lol. Glad they got to do that then because I have a feeling they aren't having to much fun now!

Traya in the next week we will be getting a letter with his PIR and address I think. Layla how cool, I was just thinking it would be fun to have something to show our support for our kids and loved ones at PIR so I am on with your idea of ribbons. I am happy to help make them, with costs etc. Traya I am a night owl and that is when I am saddest so I will check in here late night. I can cry buckets as well. Getting the box was hard. I smelled his clothes. I laughed because they were just all jumbled up in there. I cried because I wanted my kid to be in the box.

Zane's mom I don't know who is in the Wolf Pack. My son didn't mention that name although I know he made several friends there. Was he a part of the big group that shaved their heads?

We had a great recruiter. He has already called just to check on me and see how I am doing. He offered to send Deppers over should I need anything. My son got a speeding ticket the week before he went to boot and omg the recruiter was mad at him. We had a little medical issue that my son had to get a waiver for and I had really ridden the recruiter to make sure it was all good and the recruiter had him doing pushups for the ticket and telling him "your mom has worked so hard to insure you get to follow your dream and what do you do, get a speeding ticket, what were you thinking, how could you do this to her?"

My son who had until then kind of felt like I didn't really want him to go realized that I really had been supportive and helpful. It was kind of funny. He got nailed for going 6 miles and hour over the speed limit. Who gets a ticket for 6 miles an hour over??

I got my box today too!! Matt also sent a card like thing from the game where he had had his picture taken at the game. I looked it up and sure enough there was a picture of him and three of his buddies ( he must have met them there) so I ordered them. It was buy two get one free. I was so excited.

Hi everyone, I have posted here before but I think I will tell you a little about me. :) My daughter is in Pensacola for A-school. She is almost finished and will be going to VA. She had PIR July 23rd. She was a grad and go and on a chartered flight. She met her fiance in DEP and he is now at bootcamp. He left on Sept 7th and if our calculations are correct this should be his PIR group. She is very busy and can't get on this site very much so I will be here for her. I am very crafty and I made ribbons for our PIR group to wear to PIR and have made them for several other groups as well. I will be happy to make them for this group too so if anyone wants to know more about them please send me a friend request.

If you are my daughter's fiance's mom please let me know you are here. I was supposed to get your number from one of our kids but I don't have it yet. I hope you are going to fly to PIR, that was a very long drive when we did it before but I am glad you were able to come.
