Hi, If any of you had sons going to Groton today, son called about 2 hours ago, they were on a bus from Boston. said it would be about a 2 hr ride, they should be getting there about now. It was great that he could call several times today.

This is for any mom with a daughter that has finished RTC. There is a young lady here that has the same recruiter my son had. She has questions but wants a woman's point of view of RTC. If your daughter would be willing to visit by email or letter please let me know. I can be the go between until she is comfortable sharing her email. PLEASE leave a message for me. I will check my messages. Thanks again.

I am doing fine...I keep giving out new groups to you guys and it is killing me though...I just want to keep you all close, but I know you have to fly...and Jessica has put me to work with the other PIR groups, Boot camp for Moms and now I have been asked to help with New moms stop here...so I seem to be busy...but I am having a wee bit of withdrawal...you all were so fun and made what I did so easy...thank you for lifting me up and being my friends....I will never forget any of you!!

does anyone have a Sailor going to Pensacola to be a CTR? My boyfriend is down there now, just wondering if I have anyone going through the same thing :).

hi Ladies I am still beaming with pride...I think I give new meaning to proud Navy Mom. I am missing him already....Leaving him was so hard but it made me feel better knowing that I can have more contact with him once he gets his phone. I was wondering how the meet and greet went I was so sad I couldn't make it to meet all the wonderful families. I want to say congrats to all the sailors and their families that shared this special day with me and my son and family.

Lynne, how are you doing? You have been so wonderful through all of bootcamp, just don't know what I would've done without you - thank you so much for giving of yourself so much to all of us.

jck - thanks so much for the pics! I saw my son in a bunch of them - which was great, seeing as we had 3 cameras and a camcorder, and hardly got anything (hard to get anything thru the railing from upstairs). You must've had great seats!
