Navy Moms~Congratulations! We did PIR last week and it was glorious! I hope you all have safe travels and a relaxing weekend with your new sailor. You will be amazed at how much they have changed; for the better of course! But, they will always be your sons and daughters.

We got our call around 5 pm!!! He is a sailor! Were already at the airport. Had a great 30 minute conversation. Now waiting for our plane, will miss you tonight but we're ready for tomorrow! As for shuttle, find out at your hotel how late they run. I know we have to wait tomorrow too! Don't really care!

well back from Navy Pier, took 2 hours to get back to the motel, now we are heading to Anastasias for the m & g. and I am so hungry. I am so happy I got the call, he said he is real tired.
