Choose your Username.  For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either).  Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username.  While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Make sure to read our Community Guidelines and this Navy Operations Security (OPSEC) checklist - loose lips sink ships!

Join groups!  Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself!  Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility. 

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.  

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

On a side note for everyone that will be touring Chicago this weekend with your new sailors, and looking for things to see and do. I just found out that America's Got Talent will be doing audtions this coming weekend in Chicago.

My daughter is up and working hard at Battlestations 21 now, so I'm staying up too. Blue candle is burning! Only 3:45 to go until they finish! .

So here it is very late at night and I can't sleep! Knowing my girl is doing BS21 right at this very moment! My prayers are with her and all of our new sailors this week!! I can't wait for my phone call!!!

Safe travels to everyone leaving tomorrow!! I fly out on Thursday and looking forward to meeting you all at the Meet and Greet! Packed the iPad just in case there are any last minute updates on here!!

Lynne you are sooo funny. I think that it is always that way for the mom and we always get the sarcasm for being the last minute charlie. You are sooo awesome we would all be lost without your wonderful words of wisdom to keep us going. Be safe on your trip to Chicago.

Lala got my ribbons packed...they are so beautiful...I leave tomorrow y'all what will you do without me while I am on the road...what will I do without you...yikers...am so very afraid....finishing up my stuff for the Meet and Greet...will be up most of the night...how come I plan and plan and am still last minute Charlie...lol

We are leaving for Chicago in the morning. I can't wait to see my baby. I'm saying a prayer for all going through battle stations tonight. Good luck everyone and I hope everyone has a safe trip to Chicago.
